Computer is one of the most important things. Nowadays it is impossible to work, study, entertain, get pleasure, and communicate without computer. People need it in all spheres of their lives.

Computers play a special role in the life of youth. And they are more important for young people than for people in age. Teens easily come to know the particulars of its work.

Everybody will agree that if computer offered only possibilities to work and study, it wouldn't be so popular. It is world-spread because thanks to it people have the access to the internet. In fact internet is a universal network that connects all computers of the world.

One of the greatest benefits of internet is the possibility to do everything sitting in front of the monitor. You may buy things, read books, communicate with your friends, paint, get the latest information, book a room/ticket/seat in the hotel/train/ theatre, and you may even work in the internet.

There are people who consider internet to be the curse of humanity. First of all it damages the natural face-to-face communication. People prefer to get to know people with the help of e-mails, messengers and sites, they forget about real life living in the world of internet.

Even a term "internet addiction" appeared. As there are a lot of young people nowadays who spend all their time in the internet, forgetting about everything.
Internet is also considered to be a curse because it contains a lot of dump information that is untrue and uninteresting. Thousands of banners with advertisement annoy people and sometimes even cause irritation and indignation. And it influences the psych of youth. As if young people are regularly irritated, they become emotionally unstable and aggressive.

Computer games turned computers into the most used method of entertainment. They have become so popular that nowadays it is even considered to be sport. There are a lot of competitions held. And people from all over the world take part in them trying to win them and get the first prise. There are a lot of kinds of computer games of different genres, so every teenager may find a game that would correspond to his/her interests. Some of them have good impact on people as they are created to develop person's memory, attention and mental abilities. But some games are based on violence and pornography. Unfortunately these games are the most spread.

Anyway computers play an important role in our lives, but we should always remember that computers shouldn't substitute real life.
