FOR GHAZZA

EVERYDAY I TOUCH YOUR PAIN
I SEE YOUR SHADOW ON MY WAY
IT HOVERS AROUND ME NIGHT AND DAY
DISTANCES CANNOT MOVE US AWAY.

EVEN THOUGH YOU'RE FAR AWAY
I CAN HEAR YOUR SCREAMS
KISS YOUR WOUNDS WIPE YOUR TEARS
DISTANCES CANNOT MOVE US AWAY.

I CAN SMELL THE PERFUME OF YOUR ROSES
THEY ARE VERY EARLY BLOOMED
SWEETER THAN HONEY REDDER THAN BLOOD
DISTANCES CANNOT MOVE US AWAY.

I CAN SEE THE BRAVE RESISTING
HE FIGHTS WITH A SWORD, HE FIGHTS WITH A STONE
IT DOESN'T MATTER IF HE'S ALONE
DISTANCES CANNOT MOVE US AWAY.

I BELIEVE YOU'LL NEVER FALL DOWN
YOU CAN STAND THIS SORROW
YOU WILL NEVER EVER BE BELOW
DISTANCES CANNOT MOVE US AWAY.

I SWEAR I WILL NEVER DECEIVE YOU
YOU'RE STILL IN MY MIND, IN MY SOUL
TO GIVE YOU BACK FREEDOM IS MY FIRST GOAL
DISTANCES CANNOT MOVE US AWAY
AND GOD WILL NEVER FORGET US.

    As It Comes To An End

    As I sit here in class,
    I observe my friends
    And look forward to the year
    Coming to an end.

    It's gonna be sad
    To say good- bye.
    I'll miss everyone.
    I know I will cry.

    I remember the day
    When I came back
    To be with my friends
    And get on the right track.

    We had so many moments;
    Some bad, most great.
    I'll always remember the love
    And erase the hate.

    I don't wanna say good- bye
    To all my friends.
    I don't want this year
    To come to an end.
